Good Bye Autumn
Autunm's leaves are hanging on and I walk softly before the break of dawn - and down a road that has no end, to think and talk to God, my friend!
I wander not so far away as golden leaves seem to say: "Time is short and I must go - before the quiet and stillness of winter's snow."
Sunshine breaks through the heave fog and warms the earth around a deadened log.
The road is worn beneath my tireless feet - but I keep looking for the peace I seek, peace in those Autumn leaves that seem to burn.
And though they'll die and fade away, I'll smile - for I know that someday they will return!
