~ The Journey ~

The journey Christ embarked on
He knew would lead to death,
He asked God to forgive them
Before He drew His final breath.

Many thought His journey over
As they laid Him in a tomb,
But Jesus had spoken of this
Resurrection would come soon.

The third day His Father raised Him
A message of hope would unfold,
It’s meaning was eternal life
For every believer young and old.

The reason for this long journey
Was so all the world could see,
How much Our Father loves us
He gave His only Son for you and me…

Absolutely beautiful Jeff. WOW! The Spirit is a moving all over, all over this land (taken from a song) I'm speechless! and that's rare for me. Just let the Spirit keep working through you, my wonderful friend.

I just had to "comment",on this one.I too,"love" Easter,one of our most "precious",and "sacred' holidays,in my opinion,besides Christmas.You brought back the memories,and "the-tears".Thank-you so much. A "wonderful-inspiration".Love,your friend,Shirley ann shaw-Raytown,mo.64133
( A great-reminder also,of what our "dear" "poor" "Lord and Saviour" (Jesus),went through,for us.Loved it,once again!)

Of all our Holidays, Easter is by far, my favorite. Not just because I got to buy a new Easter outfit....or because it was the real beginning of spring with it's new and special flowers, but because it is the symbol of when Jesus arose from the grave after dying on the Cross for every conceivable sin that we could ever commit in this life. He loved us So Much that He gave His life on Earth for our Eternal life with God. Who of us would do as He did, even for our Faith in God? I like to think that I would not deny Him for my life, but it is something that we might want to think about in this day and age.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son that we might have Everlasting Life"
GOD loves You, and so do I.

Luv Ya
