An Easter Message . . . !

Postby DeaconSteve on Sun Apr 02, 2006 11:23 pm

Get out the trumpets –
and blow them loud,
Jesus has risen into the clouds.

Sing Alleluia and praise in song –
for the promise of His rising,
to us belongs.

Joyfully proclaim in song and dance –
for our eternal life,
is at last enhanced.

The stone is gone from the tomb –
and now salvation,
for all, does loom.

Celebrate His victory over death –
new life restored,
from his last breath.

Share the message –
and spread it wide,
for Jesus has risen from on high!

Wishing You a Joyous and Happy Easter!

Jeff, I wrote this to give an examle of what a possible Easter ecard might look like. Do you notice the difference from this one and the Good Friday poems? I also have nothing to do with the artwork for the ecards the Webmaster choses. That is his doing. Glad you liked it, apparently many folks didn't. This was just an example. I will now look at yours, my friend.

I absolutely love it, although I had missed it until now. That is what an Easter card should be. No one can misunderstand that one.

Thank you Carol. Glad you enjoyed it my dearest friend. You and others get the credit for it is through your writings and the inspiration of The Master that I am able to write anything. Love you dearly my friend.

Thank you for such kind comments Sandy. I do appreciate them. Don't really write for ecards as such, just write from the heart what I am sent and am inspired by others and God. Not so inspired lately. Might be some time before that happens again. God bless you my dear friend. Love you as always.
