Our Life Together

Come sit down so we can talk
or if we want, we'll take a walk;
It doesn't matter what we do
as long as I can be with you.

We can share our hearts and reminisce
of how we met, or our first kiss;
Then look back on the joy and laughter
and the hope that lies in ever after.

Or we can recall mistakes we've made
and realize the price we've paid;
Whatever happens, we know for sure
there is nothing our love cannot endure.

So if sometimes, we lose our way
God willing we'll get another day;
To ask forgiveness and be forgiven
so we can continue this life we're livin'

For we still have more dreams to dream
and things aren't always as they seem
So lets' hold hands and take a walk
beneath the stars tonight -
and know as long as we have each other
Everything's gonna be alright.
