WILL YOU BE MY SANTA ?
Hi there, Baby…I felt like writing,
Do you know it’s that time of year…
When the snow falls, it’s so inviting,
Wish that we could share it, my Dear.
We could build our very own snowman,
Maybe give him a girlfriend, too !
See the miracles of snowflakes on our hands,
I miss doing so much with you.
I remember we would go walking,
‘Round the stores, see the Christmas display.
Don’t do it any more, here I sit talking…
With you, now you’ve gone away.
Chorus
Hey Baby, will you be my Santa ?
Come down the chimney on Christmas Eve.
Wake me up as I sit there sleeping…
Share the night, pretend you’ll never leave ?
Baby, can we share this Christmas ?
Our gift would be a miracle come true.
Hey Baby, will you be my Santa ?
Come hold me like you used to do.
Well, I guess that was a silly question…
You’re an angel now, might not have time.
I picture you as visiting sick and lonely ones…
They need you more than me, but I, I, I’m…
Looking forward to my reception,
When I arrive at the Royal Throne…
Then we won’t be missing Christmas again,
I’ll no longer spend them alone.
Chorus
Then Baby, you will be my Santa !
What a wonderful time that will be.
We can both bless Jesus together,
Kneel before Him on bended knee.
We’ll never miss another Christmas,
Every day will be ours, for..e..ver..more…
I can’t wait to see my Santa,
As I pass through those Golden Doors !
We won’t miss another Christmas…
We’ll be together for..ev..er..more !
Moonchild
